During the meeting at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Tianjin, China, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Tinh discussed the current level and prospects of economic cooperation between the two countries.

The Russian leader noted that economic cooperation demonstrates steady and steady growth. According to Putin, the tasks set during his visit to Vietnam are being successfully implemented, which indicates a high level of mutual understanding and effective cooperation between the states.

The Vietnamese Prime Minister expressed gratitude for the opportunity to meet in person, stressing the importance of direct dialogue against the backdrop of actively developing ties. In response, the Russian President noted with a smile that such a meeting would be natural, given the close relations between the peoples and governments of the two countries.
