The logistics map of the Volga region has received a new major hub: a fulfillment center has been launched in the Kanavinsky district of Nizhny Novgorod, which takes over the full cycle of order processing - from the acceptance of goods to the assembly of parcels and delivery. The project is aimed at speeding up shipments for local sellers and reducing delivery time for residents of the Volga Federal District.
The first stage already sets the scale. The warehouse area at the start exceeds 40 thousand square meters by floor, and after entering all queues, the facility should grow over 100 thousand square meters. At the first stage, the capacity of more than 10 million goods and the capacity of up to 180 thousand orders per day is announced. In the final configuration, the indicators will expand significantly: storage — up to 30 million goods, processing — over 780 thousand orders per day.
The bid for the Nizhny Novgorod region is explained by the dynamics of demand and the activity of regional sellers. The company notes an increase in orders and an increase in the number of entrepreneurs who develop sales through the platform. The commentary by Alexander Startsev, Chief Operating Officer of the production, focuses on pace and infrastructure.:
"Since the beginning of 2026, the number of orders in the Nizhny Novgorod region has increased by 80% year on year. The number of local sellers is also growing.… To meet the growing demand, we continue to develop the logistics infrastructure in the region."
The regional authorities have also linked the project to investment policy and the warehouse market. The Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin, emphasized the effect on the quality of warehouse space and budget:
"The new logistics complex ... has received the status of a priority investment project of the Nizhny Novgorod region ... the region receives an increase in the total volume of high-quality warehouses by more than 20 percent, as well as new jobs and tax revenues."
This decision is important for the foreign economic activity market and interregional logistics for two reasons. First, a large fulfillment facility at a point with good transport connectivity increases the stability of the Volga Federal District supply chains and reduces dependence on long-range shoulders during peak loads. Secondly, the expansion of the warehouse network enhances the potential of sellers who work with rapid replenishment of balances, batch splitting and regional assortment. As a result, those who pre-arrange the supply “for the warehouse”, prepare packaging and labeling according to the requirements of the fulfillment and plan the delivery taking into account the capacity of the facility.
