Megamarket launched sales of products with a history of operation and started with the tire category. The site declares the admission of professional sellers, moderation, and a mandatory mark on previous use. According to the service, such tires are noticeably cheaper than new ones, and the cards provide data on the condition and tread.

The Megamarket marketplace has launched a separate line for products with a history of operation. The first focus is on car tires, where the purchase decision often rests on transparency of the condition and clear transaction rules. The platform states that only professional sellers will be able to post such an assortment, and the cards will be moderated with mandatory labeling of the fact of previous use.

The key point of the launch is to transfer the "gray" market of used items into a manageable format with clear quality parameters. Svyatoslav Mileshkin, head of auto and household goods at Megamarket, explained the logic as follows:

"We see a steady demand for more affordable solutions. At the same time, the market for recycled goods has existed for a long time, but it remains fragmented and is not always transparent to the buyer. The new section allows you to create a clear and secure environment with the same level of trust that our users expect from the marketplace."

For the buyer, the main trigger is the economy. According to the company, the average check for tires with a service history is 40-60% lower than the price of new analogues of the same brand and size, and the cards promise details on the condition and remaining tread.

From the point of view of logistics and the operational model of the marketplace, the launch means the emergence of "quality control before shipment" as a separate process. Used goods require standardized measurements, photofixation, gradation of condition, and then stable storage in a warehouse so that the actual condition matches the card. This is especially important for tires: pressure, geometry, tread residue, and repair marks directly affect disputed cases and returns.

For the market as a whole, the direction pushes for the development of the infrastructure of the circular economy: diagnostic services, pre-sale preparation, transparent disposal and recycling. As a result, professional sellers who know how to document the origin, ensure packaging and be responsible for the quality of the batch benefit.

A separate marker of future expansion is the interest in the segment of used cars. Such a step would require integration with background checks, legal purity checks, pre-sale inspections, and more complex shipping. The industry will receive a new sales channel, and customers will receive a standardized way to purchase used equipment in the familiar marketplace interface.
