On October 28, the capital will host a key event for logistics industry specialists — the seminar "Digital Transformation of Transport Logistics", organized by IBS and Pooling. The meeting will bring together experts, suppliers, manufacturers and CIOs to discuss how logistics is changing under the pressure of new realities and legal requirements.
The main focus is the digitalization of logistics processes in the context of the transition to electronic documents and increased government control. In the near future, a massive transition to digital formats of transportation and forwarding contracts, the introduction of the GosLog system, as well as an increase in interest in domestic TMS solutions is expected.
The organizers say that the time has come to review logistics strategies: companies are already adapting to the risks associated with using foreign software and are actively implementing digital platforms. The seminar will reveal the real experience of technology implementation: from document management automation to integration with partners and the choice of solutions for new conditions.
The seminar will feature presentations by top managers of FM Logistic, IBS, Pooling and international FMCG companies. They will discuss the distribution of roles between the forwarder, the carrier and the shipper, the challenges of digitalization of transport documents, the costs of development and maintenance, as well as errors and difficulties in pilot projects.
Special attention will be paid to practical aspects: how to quickly launch a digital project, how to avoid "double entry" of data, which to digitize first and which approaches work better in modern realities.
The format of the event involves live communication and exchange of experience. The speakers promise an honest look at the problems and effective solutions, supported by real cases.
The seminar will be useful for logistics managers, SCM directors, IT specialists and those responsible for business process integration. The event starts at 3 p.m., participation is free, registration is required. The venue is Moscow.
