DPD summed up the results of August 2025 and told which categories of goods became leaders in terms of shipments. Growth was recorded in the segments of clothing, appliances, jewelry and marketplaces.

DPD in Russia summed up the results of August 2025 and shared the latest shipment statistics. The company's analytics covers the B2B and B2C segments and demonstrates how demand for logistics services and products that are most popular with customers is changing.

Compared to August 2024, the total volume of shipments remained at the same level. However, individual product categories have shown impressive growth. In the B2B segment, the clothing and footwear category has become the absolute leader, with a 4-fold increase in shipments. In second place are medical devices and drugs with an increase of 57%.

In the B2C sector, mobile phone shipments showed the most noticeable dynamics, with a multiple increase in their number. The number of jewelry shipped has almost doubled, with an increase of 180%. Marketplaces also confidently entered the top, with a 123% increase in shipments compared to August last year. For this category, this is the most significant jump in 2025: previously, the monthly increase was about 70%.

The average weight of one shipment also increased by 5% to 18 kilograms. On average, there are slightly more than two parcels per shipment: 2.3 versus 2.2 a year earlier.

The distribution by region remains relatively stable. Moscow and the region continue to be the leader in the number of shipments, the Ural region is in second place, and the North-West occupies the third position. At the same time, Siberia showed the greatest dynamics: the increase in the number of shipments in the region reached 17% compared to the same period last year.

These data indicate the ongoing transformation of consumer behavior, where online sales and marketplaces play a growing role. It is also evident that companies from the B2B segment are actively increasing their logistical activity, especially in the field of light industry and medicine.
