The Azov Sea Region's strategy until 2040: a course towards ecology and infrastructure
The Russian government has approved a long-term Strategy for the sustainable development of the Azov Sea region until 2040, combining the environmental, infrastructural and economic priorities of the region. The document establishes the transition to a unified management system for the Azov Basin, providing for the restoration of the ecosystem, the development of transport and tourism, as well as improving the quality of life of the population of the coastal territories.
