Rospotrebnadzor stopped the sale of counterfeit shoes on Wildberries within a day: it was about goods under the brands Adidas, Nike, Dr. Martens and ASICS. According to the agency, over 7 thousand pairs of shoes were put into circulation, the marketplace blocked the seller's cards and stopped sales after the declarations were terminated.

Pressure on grey supply chains and pseudo-production is increasing in Russian e-commerce. Rospotrebnadzor announced the suppression of a scheme for the sale of counterfeit shoes on the Wildberries marketplace. The reason was the information about the release of products in Russia under the trademarks of Adidas, Nike, Dr. Martens and ASICS. The agency conducted verification measures, identified the entrepreneur and the geography of activity — the Republic of Dagestan.

The key detail of the case is the reaction speed. The agency's message highlights the daily horizon.:
"During the day, Rospotrebnadzor identified and suppressed the activities of pseudo—production and sale of counterfeit shoes of well-known world brands on a popular marketplace," the press service of the department told reporters.

According to Rospotrebnadzor, "production" started in 2026, and a significant amount was put into circulation: over 7 thousand pairs of shoes and more than 1 thousand units of light industry goods. At the same time, as part of the inspection, violations were found in the paperwork: declarations of conformity were received with gross violations, which became the basis for declaring them invalid.

A separate block is the exchange of data between turnover participants. The agency reported that the marketplace was promptly notified, and the information was also transmitted to the operator of the monitoring system for goods subject to mandatory labeling. According to reports, 83 pairs of shoes and 2 pairs of jeans were sold.

The further trajectory goes into the plane of foreign economic activity and control of supply channels. Rospotrebnadzor sent information to law enforcement and customs authorities to establish supply chains and completely curb illegal activities. For the market, this is a signal of the expansion of the practice of the interdepartmental circuit: from blocking cards and canceling declarations to analyzing the origin of shipments, documents, routes and intermediaries.

The platform's position boils down to the operational limitation of the seller and reliance on formal registries. The press service said in a statement:
"Wildberries immediately voluntarily blocked the cards of this entrepreneur and stopped the sale of his products after the termination of the declarations of conformity for products," the press service said.

For sellers and importers, the conclusion is practical: the risk profile of light industry goods is growing, and weaknesses most often lie in the documentary part and traceability. In 2026, the audit of counterparties, verification of declarations, labeling discipline and proof of origin will become mandatory hygiene. For marketplaces, the case sets the standard: quick locks, data transfer to regulators, setting up filters for documents and brands in categories with a high proportion of counterfeit.
