IKEA doubles its bet on India: 2.22 billion euros for stores, online and purchases
IKEA plans to invest about 2.22 billion euros in business development in India over the next five years: the company intends to open new stores, increase purchases and accelerate online sales. IKEA currently has six locations in the country, and the goal is to expand the network to 30 stores and quadruple revenue. The strategy makes India not only a sales market, but also an important hub for logistics and supply chains in the region.
