On April 30, the presidential decree on the mandatory sale of foreign exchange earnings by Russian exporters expired. The requirement was in effect from October 2023 and applied to companies from the fuel and energy complex, metallurgy, chemical and forestry industries, as well as grain farming. What will happen next has not been officially announced.

The FCS clarified the procedure for filling out the declaration of goods for goods imported under Presidential Decree No. 261. This explanation is important for participants in foreign economic activity who use a transitional regime before launching a SPOT and arrange shipments with special import conditions.

The Russian president has extended economic restrictions on foreign trade until the end of 2027. Decree No. 657 amends the previous document, adopted in March 2022.
