Since May 27, major technology brands have been excluded from the list of permitted parallel imports: Acer, Asus, HP, Intel, Samsung, Toshiba and a number of others. The restrictions apply to specific categories such as laptops, PCs, server components, and storage devices. Equipment imported before May 27 will remain legal — the ban is not retroactive.
