The CCI of the Russian Federation has extended the free issuance of certificates of origin of the ST-1 form for Russian customs authorities: the preferential procedure will be valid until December 31, 2027. The measure concerns certificates issued under Government resolutions No. 311 and No. 312, and reduces business costs for mandatory document management during customs clearance.

Starting from January 1, 2026, a single Center for preliminary decisions on the classification of goods based on the CTU will be launched in Russia. The innovation should unify the practice of customs control, shorten the time for reviewing applications and completely transfer the process to an electronic format.

The Russian customs has strengthened control over the TR CU certificates of conformity issued in Kyrgyzstan. Now, when importing goods, additional documents are required, which is associated with verifying the authenticity of foreign certification.
