On May 14, Ozon launched its second fulfillment center in the Novosibirsk Region. Investments amount to 6.5 billion rubles. First stage: 80 thousand square meters, 40 million items at a time, 550 thousand orders per day. At full capacity — 1.4 million orders per day. The region has become a key logistics hub of the marketplace in Asia: from here orders go from Kaliningrad to Khabarovsk, and now abroad.

In support of residents of the Kaliningrad Special Economic Zone through subventions to the regional budget. The funds are planned to be used to compensate for additional customs duties and taxes that may arise due to changes in federal regulation. The administration of payments will be on the side of the region, while the calculation procedure and control of the intended use will comply with the rules established at the federal level.

Near Kaliningrad, a large mining farm was identified that used electricity bypassing the meter. The damage is estimated at 56 million rubles — the equipment has already been seized.

The new Kaliningrad–Petersburg sea line with access to China may change the logistics of the region. The first ship will sail in November.

Against the background of sanctions restrictions, Kaliningrad receives another supply channel: a new container shipping line is being launched between St. Petersburg and the enclave.

Sea carriers plan to increase the volume of cargo transportation between St. Petersburg and Kaliningrad, where freight rates have decreased by 25% in three years.
