The EAEU countries are moving to a new level of cargo transportation control. Digital data exchange between customs and transport services has already started working and is changing the very mechanics of border crossing.

Russia, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan have launched a real-time data exchange system for transport control. The solution is already in commercial operation and covers key processes related to inspections, fines and payments.

Since the launch, more than 196 thousand records have been transferred to the system. This is information about the passage of control, detected violations and their elimination. The information is available to the authorized bodies immediately after registration, which allows you to synchronize the actions of services from different countries.

For carriers, the changes are felt in practice. The number of repeated checks when crossing borders within the Union is decreasing. The regulatory authorities receive confirmation of payment of fines and fulfillment of requirements without additional requests and paper documents.

Drivers can now confirm the transportation status faster. Data on payments and elimination of violations is available in real time. This reduces the time at checkpoints and reduces the risk of delays due to discrepancies in information.

The project forms a unified digital transport control space within the EAEU. This is a step towards simplifying logistics and increasing the transparency of transportation for businesses. Companies receive more predictable working conditions on international routes within the Union.

The next stage will be the connection of Kazakhstan. It is planned that the country will join the system in the third quarter of 2026. After that, digital control coverage will expand to the main transit destinations in the region.

The market is already responding to the changes. Carriers are strengthening data control and integration with government systems. In the context of digitalization, this is becoming an essential element of stable operation on the EAEU routes.
