The declaration is suitable for most household items — kitchens, cabinets, tables. It can be issued by the manufacturer or importer himself after receiving test reports from an accredited laboratory. Both documents allow you to apply the EAC mark, confirming compliance with the EAEU standards.

The document processing process includes several stages: submitting an application to the certification authority, preparing technical documentation, transferring samples and registering the document. The average time is about 10 business days. However, many people make mistakes: they choose the wrong type of document, do not check the laboratory's accreditation, or do not include all articles in the certificate.

It is important to remember that the lack of supporting documents can have serious consequences, from fines to a ban on sales and problems at customs. The advantage of the system is that permits are valid throughout the EAEU countries, which makes it easier to enter new markets.

It is especially important for manufacturers to consult with certification experts in advance in order to avoid delays and disruptions in deliveries. Thus, companies working with children's furniture are required to undergo more thorough inspections. Some of them successfully receive certificates and are included in the registers of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, giving themselves access to tenders and government supplies.
