The Bank of Russia has announced the parameters of foreign exchange transactions for the second half of 2026: daily currency sales are reduced by 8 times — from 4.62 billion to 0.58 billion rubles. On this day, exporters traditionally actively sell foreign currency to pay VAT and income tax, creating a temporary overhang of dollars and yuan on the market. The ruble is receiving short-term support. According to BSPB analysts, the yuan will trade in the range of 10.8–11.2 rubles on June 25-29. After June 29, pressure on the ruble will resume — without a tax "backup", Brent $ 72.5 will put pressure on the exchange rate.

Inflation in Brazil accelerated to 5.3% in May, above the Central Bank's target range of 4.5%. Brazil's central bank has taken a pause in rate cuts after the latest move to 13.25%. The Brazilian real continues to weaken against the dollar. For Russian companies conducting settlements with Brazil, this is a signal to review the currency component of contracts.

The Central Bank set the official exchange rate for June 11: dollar — 71.79 rubles, a decrease of 1.5 rubles per week. The yuan is trading around 10.8 rubles. The ruble is strengthening despite the drop in oil prices after the US–Iran truce due to high export earnings and tax payments.
