The decision was made by GECEX resolution No. 939 of July 17 and is accompanied by established quotas and validity periods — this is not an indefinite benefit, but a temporary measure linked to specific import volumes. Brazilian importers should check whether their products are included in the list.

Starting from July 31, Ozon changes the tariff model to FBO: the commission for the sale increases, and in return, a discount for locality is introduced if the product is in the same cluster as the buyer. The design has caused complaints from the industry association: the discount is temporary and has been reduced since August 30, and disappears altogether in the largest clusters. We notified the sellers 15 days in advance instead of the required 45.
