Wildberries and the Ministry of Economic Development have opened support centers for sellers in 8 cities
The centers are already operating in Kazan, Ivanovo, Ufa, Novosibirsk, Krasnodar, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don and Yekaterinburg. The platforms will be part of the RWB Environment digital platform and will combine face-to-face consultations with the services of the RWB ecosystem.
Visitors will be able to receive assistance on starting and developing a business on Wildberries, analytics, promotion, logistics, as well as affordable government support measures. A separate area is adaptation to the requirements of the law on the platform economy, which entered into force on October 1, 2026.
"On October 1, the law on the platform economy came into force, which sets the rules for interaction between participants in this market. The creation of consulting centers for entrepreneurs is another logical step along this path. Consulting centers will become a practical tool for interaction between the state, a large digital platform and small businesses and will help entrepreneurs to quickly receive information and solve business problems," said Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Tatyana Ilyushnikova.
The centers are aimed at existing and aspiring Wildberries sellers, order pick-up point owners, manufacturers, and WB Travel partners. The format of the work includes individual consultations, lectures, workshops and meetings of the business community.
"We see that it is important for entrepreneurs not only to have access to digital tools, but also to understand how to use them to solve specific business problems. In regional centers, it will be possible to personally contact a specialist, get advice and form a further action plan," said Yulia Poletaeva, Director of the Department for the Implementation of Entrepreneurship Support Projects at RWB.
The My Business network, created in 2019, will become the infrastructure basis for some of the centers: there are about 400 divisions operating throughout the country, and about 300,000 entrepreneurs apply for support annually. According to Maxim Ogladkov, Executive Director of the National Agency "My Business", consulting support remains the most sought-after type of assistance at all stages of business development.
The centers will also feature the capabilities of the Growth Platform, a joint program between RWB and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. Today, the program unites more than 2,000 brands from 58 regions of Russia, as well as entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan.
For sellers conducting cross-border trade through Wildberries, the centers can become an entry point into an up-to-date regulatory framework: the law on the platform economy is changing the way they interact with marketplaces, and compliance issues directly affect importers who place goods on the platform. The Ministry of Economic Development has announced the preparation of a second package of measures to regulate the platform economy, including changes to the rules for returning goods.
