10% VAT on children's goods will be linked to certificates: what will change on import
The Ministry of Finance has prepared a draft law that specifies which documents should confirm the right to a 10% preferential VAT for children's goods. The idea is simple: fewer disputes and "gray areas", more reliance on certificates and declarations of conformity. For importers, this means increased pre—control: without a correct evidence base, the benefit may become unavailable, and a mistake may result in additional charges and price revisions.
