The Decision of the EEC Board dated July 17, 2026 No. 91 amended the Procedure for filling out the passenger Customs declaration, approved by the Decision of the EEC Board dated October 16, 2018 No. 158. The new version sets out the procedure for filling in the column "Information on goods" of the declaration for express cargoes for the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic.
The passenger customs declaration for express cargo, abbreviated PTDEG, is used for processing goods delivered by express carriers to individuals. The bulk of cross-border purchases in online stores and on foreign marketplaces pass through this document, therefore, the correctness of filling in the column with the description of goods directly affects the speed of batch release.
The column "Information about goods" is the part of the declaration where the name, characteristics and quantity of the transported item are indicated. It is to her that the customs authorities most often have questions: an incomplete or inaccurate description leads to a request for additional documents and a delay in the cargo at the temporary storage warehouse.
The point—to—point nature of the change - across the two states of the Union - indicates a re-tuning of the national specifics of the design. Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan remain prominent channels for cross-border e-commerce within the EAEU, and clarifying the filling procedure aligns practice in these areas.
Express delivery operators operating on the Kazakh and Kyrgyz arms should check which fields have been affected by the new edition and update the PTDEG templates in their systems. It is wise for companies that ship goods to end customers in these countries to check with their express carrier whether they have redesigned the design so that shipments do not get stuck due to format discrepancies with the requirements.
