Certificates of conformity and declarations of conformity issued in accordance with the previous requirements will expire on September 1, 2026 and will be transferred to the "archived" status in the register of issued certificates and registered declarations.
The basis is Government Resolutions No. 642 dated 05/14/2025 and No. 1403 dated 09/11/2025, which changed the requirements for products subject to mandatory certification and declaration. The documents drawn up before the introduction of these changes are brought into compliance through reissue.
There is only one way to identify a problematic document. In the Rosaccreditation register, in the "certification/declaration object" section, there may be a mark "as amended on December 23, 2021." It is such records that go to the archive.
Rosaccreditation recommends checking all valid certificates and declarations in the registry by September 1, and if a mark is found, issue a new document according to current requirements.
Separately, the agency fixed the fate of the goods already sold: products released into circulation with the current old certificate can be sold and used further within the expiration date or service life.
The date of September 1 coincides with another requirement: starting from the same day, the product card on the marketplace must have a valid link to the registry entry. The archival status of the document breaks both processes at once — the release of the consignment at customs and the card in the window.
A practical question has already arisen: the participants of the foreign economic activity write that they do not find the specified column in the registry entry. It is worth checking the entire document card, including the section with the certification object, and in case of doubt, request clarification from the issuing authority.
What a business should do. Download a list of all valid permits with numbers and check each entry in the registry. According to the marked documents, it is recommended to start the reissue immediately: the time frame for issuing a new declaration is measured in weeks, and the tests for the certificate take longer. Compare the batches with the planned release in September separately.
