Almost 40 trading platforms have joined the Rosaccreditation service, which verifies the availability and validity of certificates of conformity and declarations in state registers. The agency announced this on July 29.
The service was launched on July 3 and works via the API: data is synchronized daily, the platform sees in real time whether the document has a valid entry in the Federal State Registration Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences or the unified Register of the EAEU. Previously, the check was carried out selectively and manually, now the control becomes continuous and automatic.
The deadline is September 1, 2026. From this date, the product card subject to mandatory certification or declaration of conformity must contain a valid link to the registry entry. For products where confirmation of conformity is not required, a direct note about it is needed in the card. Used goods have been removed from the requirements.
Ozon moved ahead of schedule. The site initially asked to upload certification documents for the entire range by October 1, and then announced that from July 27 it would gradually begin to hide undocumented items from the showcase. The deadline for Ozon sellers has actually already passed.
The mechanics of the consequences are simple: a card without a confirmed link disappears from search and sales. Recovery takes time — processing a rejection letter or registration of a declaration is measured in days and weeks, and the card is without turnover.
What the seller should do. Unload the assortment and divide it into three groups: items with valid documents, items with expired or suspended, and items without mandatory confirmation. The first one is to check that the numbers in the cards match the registry. The second one is to reissue now, the month is going away quickly. The third task is to prepare rejection letters and put a mark on the card. Importers should separately check the information from the document with the data of the customs declaration: from September 1, the discrepancy blocks the entry of goods into circulation.
