The conference "China without Illusions: a Business Workshop" will be held on December 17 and 18 in an online format. Participation is subject to pre-registration, organized by the Russian-Chinese Chamber.
The audience is widely announced: companies that are already working with Chinese suppliers, importers and exporters, as well as those who are just preparing to enter the Chinese market.
The program is divided into eight blocks:
- search and verification of Chinese suppliers and business partners;
- features of negotiations and business interaction;
- import, export, customs regulation and logistics;
- certification of goods;
- promotion and marketing in the Chinese market;
- setting up a company in China and choosing a form of work;
- changes in 2026 and prospects for 2027;
- practical cases of Russian entrepreneurs.
The first blocks close the most expensive mistakes of a novice importer.
- Checking the supplier according to the state registers of the People's Republic of China takes three to four hours and costs zero, and an advance of thirty percent on an order for 50 thousand dollars is 15 thousand, which is almost impossible to return without an arbitration clause.
- The certification is arranged in the same way: the declaration of conformity takes 15-25 days to be issued, the certificate for children's goods takes up to forty days, and the start of the procedure after shipment is paid for by storing the container in the port.
The online format removes travel expenses, and for regional companies this is the main argument: a two-day trip to Moscow costs more than the participation itself.
The December date was well chosen. Chinese New Year in 2027 falls on February 6, factories start shutting down two to three weeks before the holiday, and production capacity does not return to normal until March after the restart. December is the last month when you can safely agree on the specification, order an inspection and manage the shipment before the pause.
Editorial comment. The format is not new: the conference under the same name was held in July 2025. The usefulness of such workshops is solved by the case block — it is the only one that provides what is not in the open instructions.
