Russia expands CIPS: direct settlements with China without SWIFT
The payment was sent to China, but less money was credited to the supplier's account. We found a supplier, and it turned out to be an intermediary. We signed a contract and faced a cargo delay at the border. Each of these situations is typical for Russian businesses working with China. It is these issues and the ways out of them that will be discussed at the practical conference that the Russian-Chinese Chamber is holding in Moscow this summer.

What is the conference about?

"Three Keys to China" is a two—day format for those who are already working with the Chinese market or are just planning an exit. Not review lectures, but an analysis of specific situations.: how to pay the supplier transparently, how to build logistics without surprises at the border, how to check the counterparty and not lose money on the first contract.

The numbers that set the context:

  1. 78% of companies face delays due to incorrectly executed contracts
  2. Up to 40% of suppliers turn out to be intermediaries, which adds 12-18% to the cost
  3. Every fourth company loses money on the first contract with the Chinese side

Four key blocks of the program

Cross—border settlements and finance - 2026

Why the demand for "white" schemes has increased by 30-40%, how to identify hidden intermediary fees before signing a contract, how to arrange a deferred payment without a bank loan, and how to read the payment agent's offer to know the real cost of the transaction.

Logistics without surprises

Bottlenecks at border crossings, an imbalance of sea and land routes, handling sanctioned cargo in the legal field, and inventory management practices that reduce the risk of supply disruption.

Partner search and legal security

The algorithms for checking counterparties in China, the structure of the foreign trade contract, taking into account the requirements of the Chinese side, typical risks and how to prevent them before the money is gone.

Culture, negotiation, communication

How to bridge the cultural gap in negotiations, typical mistakes of Russian companies in the Chinese market, and new formats for building long-term business relationships.
