The compensation covered sellers with an active insurance policy on the date of each of the three incidents. Those who received symbolic amounts — about 1,000 rubles — turned out to be FBS sellers who stored only refunds and canceled orders in Ozon warehouses: single items, not full-fledged deliveries.
After the inventory is completed, a register of affected items and an application form for full insurance payment will appear in the seller's personal account. As soon as the application is approved, the remaining part of the compensation will be credited to the bank account within 20 days.
Ozon emphasized that the listed 8.2 billion rubles is only the first part of the final payments. "Ingosstrakh" will determine the exact amounts for each seller based on the results of the inventory, when specific volumes of damaged or destroyed goods will be established.
For sellers working through the marketplace fulfillment, the situation has exposed the practical value of the insurance policy.: without it, it is impossible to claim compensation, regardless of the scale of the losses. Sellers whose goods were stored at all three affected facilities — in the Samara region, Adygea and Dagestan — will be included in the unified register and submit one application after completing the inventory for each warehouse.
Ozon did not specify the end date of the inventory, but outlined the algorithm: the registry and the application form will appear in your personal account automatically, and additional support requests will not be required.
