The new fulfillment center in Orsha will become the second major Ozon facility in the republic after the Minsk one, which opened in July 2022. The site in Orsha existed before in a smaller format — now it is being expanded many times. Sergey Gasoyan, Director of Ozon Belarus, described the facility as the most technologically advanced in the country.
"It will be very technologically modern, probably the most modern in the Republic of Belarus, because there will be innovations that, in principle, are probably inaccessible to other companies, we have them, and we are proud of it," Gasoyan said.
Geographically, Orsha is located near the border with Russia, which makes the facility a convenient transit hub for commodity flows within the EAEU. Sellers using the FBS or FBO model on Ozon receive an additional short-shoulder storage point to the Russian regions.
In 2026, the network was expanded with two more sorting centers — in Grodno and Gomel. Together with the existing facilities in Minsk and Baranovichi, this forms coverage in five cities at once. Gasoyan confirmed that the number of centers in the country will continue to grow.
"Today, literally this year, we are already opening a new fulfillment center in Orsha. It is large and comparable in size to the fulfillment in Minsk. In addition, sorting centers have already been opened and will continue to be opened," the company's director said.
Ozon entered the Belarusian market in 2021. Since then, the republic, according to Gasoyan, "has always been and will always be the focus of the company's attention." The consistent increase in infrastructure confirms this course: in five years, the network has grown from a single Minsk warehouse to a multi-node system covering the west, east and south of the country.
For importers and exporters using Belarus as a transit corridor or a platform for entering the EAEU market through the marketplace, the expansion of the Ozon warehouse network opens up additional options for storing and distributing goods without having to maintain their own logistics in the region.
