The fulfillment center in Orsha will become the second largest Ozon facility in the republic: in terms of area, it is comparable to the existing warehouse in Minsk. At the same time, the company is putting into operation a sorting center in the same city — its capacity will be many times higher than the previous figures of the Orsha site.
Sergey Gasoyan, Director of Ozon Belarus, described the Orsha sorting center as the most technologically equipped facility in the country.:
"It will be very technologically modern, probably the most modern in the Republic of Belarus, because there will be innovations that, in principle, are probably inaccessible to other companies, we have them, and we are proud of it."
In 2026, the marketplace's network of sorting centers will cover six cities: Grodno and Gomel, opened this year, as well as Orsha with a significantly expanded center, have been added to the existing sites in Minsk and Baranovichi.
Ozon entered the Belarusian market in 2021. Since then, according to Gasoyan, interest in the platform in the republic has been growing exponentially. The company expects a further increase in the volume of orders next year.
The expansion of the logistics infrastructure directly affects the working conditions of sellers who supply goods to Belarus through Ozon. The growth of warehouse capacity reduces processing and delivery times, and the emergence of a technologically advanced sorting center in Orsha, a transit hub in the east of the country, improves connectivity between Russia, Belarus and other EAEU countries. Sellers who are already working on the FBS model or using the marketplace's fulfillment will receive additional options for placing stock closer to the end user.
Gasoyan emphasized the strategic priority of the direction: Belarus "has always been and will always be in the focus of the company's attention." Taking into account the planned growth of orders in 2026, Ozon will continue to increase investments in local infrastructure.
