Wildberries has updated the offer for sellers and linked the commission amount on the FBS model to the actual time of order shipment.
The scale of allowances looks like this. Shipment within 24 hours after the order leaves the base commission unchanged. In the range from 24 to 30 hours, 0.30 percentage points are added to the rate for each hour. From 30 to 36 hours — 0.35 points per hour. Over 36 hours — 0.45 points per hour. The new terms will be effective from August 31, 2026.
At the start, the marketplace softened the mechanics: the surcharge is charged only from the 48th hour after placing the order. The validity period of this relaxation in the offer is not limited to a specific date, so it is worth planning the processes for a hard option.
The reverse side of the scale is a discount for speed. Shipping within 13 hours after the order reduces the commission by 5 percentage points. The interval from 13 to 18 hours gives minus 3.5 points. The temporary support measure extends the same 3.5 point discount to shipments ranging from 13 to 42 hours.
You need to count on your own nomenclature. With a base rate of 25%, the seller who meets 13 hours pays 20%, and the one who ships after 40 hours, when the allowances are canceled, goes to 26.8% or higher. On an average check of 2,000 rubles, this difference amounts to about 136 rubles per order, a value that eats up the entire profit in low-margin categories.
There are three things worth doing before August 31. The first is to remove the actual statistics on the time from the receipt of the order to the transfer to shipment, separately on weekdays and weekends: the failure usually occurs on Friday evening and Sunday. The second is to recalculate the unit economy in two scenarios, with a discount and with a surcharge, and understand which positions remain profitable with slow assembly. The third is to compare the cost of an additional shift in the warehouse with the loss of 5 percentage points of commission.: for many assortment matrices, the change pays off.
