The Wildberries marketplace is preparing to launch a new feature that will allow users to pre-order products before they go on sale. This initiative is aimed at improving the user experience and strengthening customer loyalty. Pre—order options will be available for high-demand items such as gadgets, books, fashion items, and even cars.

According to Tatiana Kim, founder of Wildberries and head of the united RVB company, the introduction of pre—order is another step in the development of the platform and bringing it closer to the standards of global e-commerce leaders. The new tool will appear on the marketplace's showcase in the form of a "View and order in advance" button, which will be available on the product pages selected for pre-release sale.

Customers will be able to book the desired product in advance and be among the first to receive it. First of all, this opportunity will be implemented for WB Club members, as well as sellers who joined the pilot launch. In the future, the functionality will expand and become publicly available to all users of the platform as part of a Jam subscription.

One of the first products to be pre-ordered will be the new iPhone 17 smartphone. The list also includes other new products from Apple and other popular brands.

The launch of pre-orders for Wildberries reflects the trends in the development of the online trading market: users increasingly want not just to buy goods, but to do it in advance, in comfortable conditions and without the risk of not having time. The introduction of this option will help the marketplace strengthen its competitive position and attract new loyal customers.

At the current stage, Wildberries collects feedback from first-time users and sellers involved in testing in order to adapt the functionality to real-world use cases. After all the tests are completed, the pre-order option will become a standard feature on the platform, supported by AI recommendation and demand management algorithms.
