Sitrak settled its differences with Rosstandart, avoiding the recall of its trucks from Russian roads. The problem was solved at the documentation level.

Sitrak was able to coordinate with Rosstandart a program to eliminate violations without having to recall its trucks. The decision was made regarding the ZZHS models presented on the Russian market by SINOTRAK RUS LLC. According to the agency, the identified shortcomings relate exclusively to documentation, and not to the technical parameters of the cars themselves.

This allows the company to correct violations administratively, without stopping transport or returning equipment to service centers. Thus, Sitrak truck owners can continue working without downtime and financial losses associated with the recall of vehicles.

In July 2025, Rosstandart imposed restrictions on a number of Chinese brands, including Dongfeng, Foton, Faw and Sitrak. The reason was non-compliance with safety requirements: brake performance, noise level, marking of controls and installation of an emergency call system.

However, in the case of Sitrak, the violations were recognized as documented, which allowed the issue to be resolved without extreme measures. Similar work is underway with other companies that are subject to restrictive measures.

The agreed adjustment program has become part of the recall campaign procedure. This is a common global practice when a manufacturer, together with a regulatory authority, fixes problems without decommissioning products if they do not endanger safety.

This approach demonstrates the flexibility of government supervision and allows maintaining stability in the freight transportation market, where Chinese brands occupy a significant share. It is also an opportunity for manufacturers to quickly adapt to the requirements of Russian legislation without losing their business reputation and partnerships.
