Wildberries has expanded its support measures for sellers whose businesses have been affected by incidents in the company's warehouses. A loan deferral has been added to the monetary compensation announced earlier. For large businesses, the decision is made individually. At the same time, the site reports on the restructuring of logistics — thousands of sorting centers across the country are involved in order to minimize delays in delivery.

Wildberries has announced a new measure of support for sellers whose goods and operations have been affected by accidents at the company's logistics complexes. This was announced on July 25 by the founder and head of RVB Tatiana Kim.

Sellers who find themselves in such a situation have received a loan deferral. The platform considers the support format for the large business segment separately, on an individual basis — there is no single automatic scheme for all business sizes yet.

The measure follows cash payments that Wildberries began earlier for sellers whose goods were lost in the affected warehouses. At that time, priority was given to small and most vulnerable entrepreneurs — the company estimated their number at more than 88 thousand. At that time, some sellers complained about the amount of compensation relative to the actual value of the lost goods. Deferral on loans is a separate, non—monetary instrument: it does not cover the cost of goods, but removes some of the pressure from current payments while the seller restores turnover.

At the same time, Kim announced the restructuring of the company's logistics: the marketplace will use thousands of sorting centers throughout Russia to redirect product flows and minimize delays in the delivery of orders. For sellers whose goods go through the affected nodes, this means a change in processing routes — orders may pass through other centers than usual, which may temporarily affect deadlines.

Sellers whose business has been affected should contact support and clarify the specific terms of the deferral: for how long it applies, which credit obligations to the site fall under the measure, and whether a separate application should be submitted. For large businesses, for which the decision is individual, it is wise to prepare documentary evidence of damage in advance — this will speed up the consideration of the application. Those whose orders go through the reoriented sorting centers should include a small margin in customer expectations for delivery dates in the coming weeks.
