The racks are installed exclusively in the warehouse — it is forbidden to place them in the customer area. Ozon will specify the recommended number of designs in a personal request in the "Quality Control" section. If the warehouse area does not allow you to place all the shelves, the owner of the storage facility must set the maximum possible number and fill out a form indicating the reason.
For storing goods, Ozon recommends cardboard boxes measuring 40x28x34 cm with a volume of about 30 liters. Variants that are close in size are allowed. One rack will require 18 or 24 boxes, depending on its size. The first row of boxes is placed directly on the floor, without a bottom shelf: this allows you to use a six-tier rack. If the bottom shelf is too low, it must be lifted. There are three 28 cm wide boxes on a 100 cm wide shelf, and four boxes on a 120 cm wide shelf.
The video of the rack installation is sent through the "Quality Control" section in response to the relevant request from the site. It is this document, along with the receipt for the purchase of the rack, that opens access to compensation. Ozon will reimburse the first 10,000 PVZ, who will send both documents up to and including September 15. The maximum payout amount per item is 13,000 rubles. Confirmation of compensation and the date of receipt of funds will also be sent through the "Quality Control" section.
PVZ of the "Home" format does not need shelving yet. Ozon stipulated that if such points are connected to the new process, the site will notify them separately.
For PVZ owners who sell imported goods, the changes primarily affect the operational logistics of the last mile: the standardization of storage affects the speed of order processing and, as a result, the rating of the point. The revision of the tariff calculation from October 1 means that the final remuneration of the PVZ will depend, among other things, on compliance with the new requirements for warehouse equipment. Point owners should check the "Quality Control" section in their personal account — the request for shelving installation and instructions for sending videos may already be there.
