Business requires marketplaces to be responsible for counterfeit goods from China

Thirteen top managers of Russian companies sent a letter to Mikhail Mishustin and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Federal Antimonopoly Service and Rospotrebnadzor with a package of proposals to combat counterfeiting on marketplaces. The main requirements are to oblige the sites to check product cards automatically, force foreign sellers to register a legal entity in Russia and introduce guarantee deposits to compensate copyright holders.
