India's exports to the BRICS countries increased by 34% to $19.9 billion in five months.

India has dramatically increased supplies to the four founding countries of the BRICS: in April-August 2026-27, the volume increased from $14.9 billion to $19.9 billion. The share of these markets in the country's total exports rose from 8.1% to 9.2%. For foreign trade participants working with China, South Africa, Brazil and Russia, this is a signal of a shift in commodity flows and increased competition in key areas.

Iran is ready to present to the Persian Gulf countries an agreement with Oman on a temporary shipping corridor through the Strait of Hormuz, one of the main hubs of global energy trade. Uzbekistan Airports and the cargo carrier My Freighter have launched a multimodal route for e-commerce cargo from China to Europe via Tashkent. Truck-to-Air scheme: car delivery from Chinese cities to Tashkent, then a flight to Liege airport (Belgium) with further transportation across the EU. Seven flights have already been completed. The route opens up an alternative transit corridor for exporters working with European buyers.
